DP World operates Rodney Container and Navy Island Terminals at Saint John, New Brunswick offering multi-purpose cargo management solutions. Saint John provides the ideal North Atlantic gateway to Central and Atlantic Canada, US North East and US Midwest.

It is the closest coastal port to Central Canada served by intermodal rail connections and direct highway access, offering year-round, ice-free access, with deep draft and no air draft restrictions.

Saint John is the only Atlantic Canadian port with access to the country’s Class I railways, Canada National Railway (CN) and Canada Pacific Railway (CP). Only 68 miles from the US border, Saint John through PanAm Rail offers connectivity to US markets of New England, Boston and Maine.

With over 40,000 m² of on-dock warehousing space, DP World Saint John offers its customers a range of options to optimally manage their inventory and increase their supply chain efficiency whether sourcing from, or shipping to global and regional markets.

In partnership with the Canadian Federal Government, and the New Brunswick Provincial government, Port Saint John has embarked on an aggressive modernization program that will increase handling capacity, deepen quayside draft and provide additional on-dock rail capacity by 2021.

The port receives a wide range of cargoes like forest products, agri-based commodities, frozen potatoes, seafood, paper, pulp, polymers, petrochemicals, automobiles, machinery, project cargo and consumer goods.
